If your first choice and preferred candidate is Palin but you rather vote for a GOP candidate than a Third Party Palin candidate, then yes.

I don't think you have to worry about making the hard choice. Your mind is already made up that you'll vote for Palin if she is the GOP candidate, and if not, then whomever the GOP nominates.
You don't have any special fondness for Palin or for her supporters, you're not one of them and that is fine.
I don't know if there is anything inherently wrong with being a GOP Firster but I sure wouldn't want my sister to date one.
