Murrow, Severaid and the rest of them would be ashamed of today’s C-BS.
Interesting how there is so much talk of the climate of hate making left wing politicians targets of possible violence, etc yet Palin and Bush are the only ones to get things thrown at them lately.
Would they? Or, is it just as likely that they would be overjoyed to walk out of the liberal closet like their modern-day contemporaries so eagerly do now?
Murrow was no fan of balance. And, while McCarthey may have been a loud-mouth and a drunk, he was right about communism and it's dangerous influence. Murrow was wrong.
