This code appears to break the temperature record into 20 5 year “yrloc”s and apply “adjustments” to the data from the 20 member array valadj based using the derived yrloc value as the array index.
A plot of valadj over the 1904-2004 time frame would result in a plot very similar to the Darwin “adjustments”.
Talk about Data Rape.
Flatten out the MW period and boost the decline in temps from 1998 on.
