I HAVE REQUESTED THE FOLLOWING INFO:

FOIA REQUEST
From: Webmaster
Date: 22 October 2009

To: 844 CG/SCPKR (FOIA)
1535 COMMAND DR. - ST. B-109
ANDREWS AFB, MD 20762

Subject: Flight information, asset distribution, and associated costs I am herein requesting PUBLIC information concerning ALL past and future movements of the President since January 20, 2009 post Inauguration utilizing DOD assets, and others. I have compiled a list (attached) from public sources detailing events and locations. I have used assumptions about flight segments, and would like those confirmed or corrected. Please add, amend, or delete this list as necessary.

The list is also available electronically for capture at the website. What is not readily available is a listing of assets used in conjunction with these “missions”.

I would like a list of all those assets deployed for the purpose of transporting and staging equipment, personnel, and any other associated costs (including number of USAF personnel paid TDY, per diem, or other extra-salaried payments) pertaining to AF1 operations. Further, I request continuing future access to this specified PUBLIC information, after-the-fact.. It is not our intention to publish any information detrimental to the security of the President. This requests includes travel for the First Lady, Mrs. Obama.

For example, in the NatGeo videos, there are C-17’s, C-???’s, Marine Helos, etc.,deploying SS protective details and advance teams, all directly tasked to the President’s “missions”. We see news snippets of jets, helos, limos, vans, and lots of people, with no apparent open accounting of the costs, both nationally, as well as locally..

I have established a website (www.wherezobama.org), and have begun historically detailing each Presidential “mission” for the specific intent of informing and educating the public as to logistics and estimated costs, as well as opinions concerning it’s purposed use. It is a public, non-subscription, free site. I am hereby requesting this waiver of fees associated with this public disclosure, pursuant to Category 2 of the schedule as Educational and/or News Media outlet.

INFORMATION SOUGHT per each mission:

1. Mission date, airport destination, and purpose. Including Air miles flown, Flight time logged, take-off/landing cycles, gallons of fuel consumed, and estimated hourly cost for each type asset deployed.

2. Additional Air Force Equipment deployed and utilized, including ALL vehicles, aircraft, and purpose for deployment.

3. Total listing of Air Force Personnel deployed per each mission, by classification. Individual identity of USAF mission personnel is not sought.

4. Boarding List or Roster of all passengers traveling aboard AF1 and associated assets, both official and non-official, Include family and friends by name, and if traveling in any official capacity. Other Military and protective details individual names not requested, but total number of “souls aboard” information is sought.

5. Payload details for all mission assets,by type, such as Marine Helo aircraft, limousines, vans, suburbans and other personnel carrying vehicles. Classified information not sought as to specifics, other than type and number, and type USAF assets utulized for deployment.
Payload weight and empty weight for each asset deployed.

In addition, I request the following aditional information: Annual budget of your department, and all granted special requests for additional operational funds, or requests thereof. Air miles allocated for regularly anticipated Presidential movements within that budget.

Respectfully submitted this 22nd Day of October, 2009

Webmaster

From a RECENT post on FreeRepublic.com ...

Cost Of A Date

From a former Air Force Colonel....

First, let me say that I’ve moved three presidents up to now and I’ve seen incredible waste. But, the “new” guy really takes the cake. I don’t have an issue with the President promising his wife dinner and a show or that he even takes his wife out. But, when I saw the news say that the date cost $24,000, here’s what you DON’T know.

Three days before “dinner” a C-17 flew Marines and the helicopter maintenance equipment to JFK Airport . The day before “dinner” I flew the USSS (secret service) and the motorcade to JFK Airport .

Our crew of 5 spent two days and nights at the Hilton in Times Square . My hotel bill: $621.66 plus $64 a day in per diem. The USSS guys were at a different Hilton in NYC, so figure that cost another $14,000 (or so) plus per diem. The Marines had to have cost as much and were there four days, so figure another $55,000 plus per diem (for 44 Marines).

We were supposed to fly the motorcade back and go home, but the Air Force was so short of C-17’s that we were re-tasked to take the motorcade back, return to JFK and take the helicopter back to Quantico. When we got back to JFK, while the pilot was turning the plane around to park, he noticed a rotor blade sticking out of the hangar where the helicopter was parked and informed me that either it wasn’t ready to transport or it was flying home. After shutting down I walked over to the hangar and to my surprise I find FIVE helicopters, not ONE.

We’re obviously not transporting five big helicopters. I went and talked to the Marines guarding the “fleet” and found that they were flying all five helicopters home and we were only transporting the Marines and the maintenance equipment. After talking to the Marine(s) in charge, I was told that the White House requested FIVE helicopters. The Marines told me that they spent all morning trying to figure out how much it cost them to come and said they figured it cost them $140,000 to stay there (I don’t know where they came up with that) and the trip’s total had to be about $1,000,000. We heard that the President didn’t use Air Force One (the 747) so I asked if he came in on one of the 757’s. I was told that he came in on THREE Air Force Lear jets.

So, date night consisted of:
2 C-17’s flying three missions, 3 Lear jets, 5 Helicopters, Presidential Motorcade, 44 Marines, more than 20 USSS personnel on our plane. Who knows what it cost the NYPD and NY Port Authority (at the airport) in overtime.

These are the same people that chastised the automobile CEO’s for using their aircraft. It further proves that the media only use the facts that make the President look good and hide any facts that will detract from his persona. Is this the ‘change’ we expected?

Talk with friends and those who are not blinded by charisma. Many folks I know who voted for Obama are very disappointed and sorry they did so. The Emperor’s clothes on a grand scale. “Transparency”? Remember, 2010 is just around the corner. All we have to do is survive long enough.

Thanks. I was beginning to think I was the only one wanting the info. The site does get a lot of hits, but I figured to get "a little help from my FRiends"! If charged for the info, it would be very expensive. It is available somewhere, but not in an easily verified form, nor as a detailed cost breakdown.

I think any information that is true & exposes the fraud of BO & his musketeers is worth gathering. (In fact, that goes for info on anyone on the taxpayers payroll if they are needlessly blowing money for no good reason.) The assault on our freedom is so overwhelming. Maybe that is why it may seem like there is not much interest. If you think your boat is sinking are you gona worry about the checkbook you dropped in the water?
