Currently, the only people left defending the Massachusetts health care reform are liberals who want to see Obamacare passed ... and Mitt Romney.
On Sunday, while the Senate debated a bill to have the government takeover the health care system, Romney went on CNN and argued that his state takeover of health care worked out quite well for Massachusetts. Asked by John King to respond to criticism offered by his likely 2012 presidential rival Tim Pawlenty about how spending exploded in Massachusetts after the implementation of RomneyCare, Romney responded...

Shocked, shocked, I tell you...
Of course he is. What choice does he have?
With open primaries and same day registration, Romney is hoping that Obama selects him to be his opponent in 2012 and orders his ACORN and SEIU minions to flood GOP primaries with votes for him.
Captain Brycreem is no conservative.
RINO Swine.
The only people defending Mittcare are Mittens and Ted Kennedy’s ghost.
Best,
Chris
I hope he keeps talking it up. Anything to continue to cast light on the idiocy of entrenched, tone deaf republicans.
Once upon a time, I liked Mitt Romney, I really did.
I respected his abilities to *get things done*, his lovely family, his optimism and pleasant demeanor.
Mitt is a great facilitator - i.e. tell him what the goal is and he will succeed.
Mitt Romney, however, is not a visionary - he is a pillow - every heavy face-off - leaves an impresssion on him.
Have fun with this one. LOL
Close the primaries nationwide. Now.
If only Republicans got to vote for or against this guy, he wouldn’t stand a chance.
I think it was a reasonable experiment for a STATE. Hear me out.
Just watched an old Firing Line from 1967 with Ronald Reagan...he and Buckley were discussing if being a “good governor” for a state were possible with all of the federal intrusions. (yes, discussing that in 1967...)
Anyway, Reagan talked about the need for states to be able to manage their affairs and allow the people to “vote with their feet”. People ought to be able to leave a state with poor management or government and move to another. His (Reagan’s) concern was the federal imprint “leveling” everything would keep that from happening. RR even praised Mitt’s dad and his administration in Michigan.
Now, if Massachusetts’ experiment is an EPIC FAIL, Mitt ought to acknowledge the same. At the same time, I have no problem with each state trying and experimenting with solutions...they are great “laboratories” to find solutions.
We need to be truly afraid of the one giant system that is shoved on the entire nation...and that is what BO wants to do.
...which is only a problem if you're a Romneybot.
Are you a Romneybot?
3 guesses, first 4 don’t count.
You can spin it any way you want but your apparent intent is to masticate, nothing more. JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!
Oh, for heaven’s sake! A few weeks ago, Romney was lying and saying that RomneyCare was never supposed to address the issue of high health care costs.
Now he’s lying about how much the program does cost, instead.
A few weeks/months ago, Romney was trumpeting RomneyCare as a model for a federal program. Now he’s saying the states should address these issues themselves (without addressing his flip-flop, or the fact that RomneyCare has cost federal taxpayers via Medicare).
The guy just can’t help himself.
The question is, in supporting him on a Conservative site, what is it that you are doing exactly???
I am thinking of another word, one that also starts with "m" and ends with "ate"...
