Not picking on you but I see a similar refrain posted all over Free Republic. Exactly how accurate is this? How many people will actually pick up guns and go fight?

I wonder about that all the time myself. I would suggest either selecting an accountable soft target like the Broadcast Media, or quietly destroying the infrastructure as more practical.

You are going to do what with a gun? Shoot the local dogcatcher? You cannot get near any of the people who deserve it.

March on Congress? As in Tienamen Square?

In the town hall meetings we saw how quickly they run and hide.

This is still a Republic. The Federal Govt. is not listening. Go down a notch, your state will listen. Each state(s) could be sovereign, if you got the stomach for it.
