Oh stop it.

All in all Bush was a damn good president. He cut taxes, moved to improve education, supported the military.

Medicare Part D is one of the few government programs that is under budget and moderately successful because free-market principles are at the program’s foundation.

He eliminated Saddam Hussein and his two lovely sons. He gave Iraqis freedom.

And for seven years he kept you and me safe. He almost dismantled al-quaeda until the Democrats gave them support again.

Bush was a President of honor and dignity. I’m tired of people here bitching about Bush.

Medicare Part D is one of the few government programs that is under budget and moderately successful because free-market principles are at the program’s foundation.

Medicare is an un-Constitutional Big Government entitlement program.

There's no getting around that.

He eliminated Saddam Hussein and his two lovely sons. He gave Iraqis freedom.

All done on false pretenses.

Where are the weapons of mass destruction?

...moved to improve education...

No Child Left Behind established Federal control over public education, which had largely been a state and local government function.

Guess who's in power now and thus has the ability to determine educational standards?

So much for "improving" education!

And for seven years he kept you and me safe.

Tell that to the late Cpl. Brian Mathews, USMC, a former resident of Columbia, Md., who was killed along with his date in 2006 by a drunk driver illegal alien because "Dubya" failed to execute the valid immigration law of the United States.

Instead of actually executing the valid immigration law of the United States, Bush preferred to let Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean languish in a Federal prison before commuting their sentences in the final days of his administration. Their crime? They roughed up a fleeing illegal alien.

He cut taxes...

Yet failed to veto spending bills and supported all manner of Big Government legislation.

Deficit spending constitutes a tax burden deferred. Just because YOU don't have to pay for it NOW doesn't make it right or acceptable; after all, there is no such thing as a free lunch, and SOMEONE, somewhere down the line, will ultimately have to pay for such spending.

Raising taxes on future generations without their consent--"taxation without representation"--is just plain wrong; it's one of the primary reasons the Founders rebelled against the last King named George!

“All in all Bush was a damn good president. He cut taxes, moved to improve education, supported the military.”

He cut taxes, but with a time limit. He expanded the illegal federal control of education, not improved it. He supported the military with one hand, yet had no problems with JAG-run-wild and the mess of a limited “hearts and minds” war on the other.

“Medicare Part D is one of the few government programs that is under budget and moderately successful because free-market principles are at the program’s foundation.”

Medicare Part D is an illegal expansion of government.

“He eliminated Saddam Hussein and his two lovely sons. He gave Iraqis freedom.”

Unfortunately, he replaced them with an Islamic government and giving Iraqis freedom (that they don’t know how to keep, since they will vote for tyranny) is not the proper role of the US President. Protecting the interests of the United States is - and THAT IS IT.

“And for seven years he kept you and me safe. He almost dismantled al-quaeda until the Democrats gave them support again.”

He left the border wide open, causing 10s of thousands of Americans to die who might not have if he had done his most basic job. He supported the KLA in Kosovo - an Al Qaeda affiliate - and did nothing about Saudi Arabia.

“Bush was a President of honor and dignity. I’m tired of people here bitching about Bush.”

Bush was a globalist. There’s no honor or dignity in that.

Now, perhaps you can explain to me just WHERE the Constitution for the United States grants FedGov the authority to meddle, in any way, shape or form, in the health care marketplace. I just can’t seem to find it. And, you know, that pesky ol’ Tenth Amendment, you remember that one, don’t you? That pesky ol’ thing says that if authority isn’t specifically GRANTED to the Feddies to do something, why they just plain DON’T HAVE IT. How hard is THAT to understand? Yet you heap praises on Bush, Jr., for incorporating “free market principles” into a SOCIALIST mishmash of garbage and expect to get away with it??????

You MUST be out of your mind.

The same holds true for “No Child Left Behind.” There is ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, NO authority anywhere granted to fedgov to meddle in education. WHY would you think NCLB a GOOD thing?

Next, where does the Constitution say it’s OUR job to free the Iraqis (or anyone else)?

(Hint: NONE of the things you cite, not a single one of them, is authorized by the Constitution, period. Bush was and is a globalist, a socialist who travels the same road as Obambi, just at a slower, more folksy pace. Unless you are also a socialist and a globalist, you were SERIOUSLY duped.)
