Anyone who didn’t anticipate that the fix was in from the start had their head in the sand. We truly are in the “awkward stage”. There seems to be no legal, peaceful way for us to fight all of the the numerous ways the statists in both parties are raping our Constitution. Yet it’s too soon for “the shooting” to begin (purely in a metaphorical way, of course).
