Do the Maine voters care what way she votes? My impression is that she is re-elected more on her celebrity as former first lady than on a belief that she represents the citizens well.
If it's not that, it's affection for her husband the ex-governor.

Everyone I know from Maine is extremely liberal. She might be the most Conservative person in the State.
