World never played for Denver...it was th San Diego Clippers that he played w/ (& was a team mate of Bill Walton) after he left Philly. I think he played for Cleveland, too.

Why would ANYBODY be crazy enough to try to stop some “urban youths” from fighting?

He changed his name from Lloyd to World because he said he was All-World. He was a scorer with some great moves, he’s one of many players I’ve “stolen” moves from.

Wow.
I was thinking of EXACTLY that when I posted.
I saw GT Saturday night (finally) and was really impressed.
Fantastic movie.

Of course, Clint had an M1911 and an M1 Garand to back him up.

Lloyd Free played three seasons with Philadelphia, including the 1976-77 team that lost in the final to the Portland Trail Blazers: Jim Barnett, Henry Bibby, Joe B. Bryant, Fred Carter, Harvey Catchings, Doug Collins, Darryl Dawkins, Mike Dunleavy, Julius Erving, World B. Free, Terry Furlow, Caldwell Jones, George McGinnis and Steve Mix.

As you can see, the team included the fathers of Mike Bibby and Kobe Bryant.

what the heck is she doing living in Bedford-Stuy?!

She didn't live there now. She had returned to visit relatives.

"Her niece, Jeromeka Johnson, told CBS 2HD that the victim, who lives in East Orange, N.J., had returned to her childhood home to cook Sunday night dinner." ..."My aunt was a very, very nice lady. Everybody knew her for her giving. That's all she did, was give, give, give."
