I think God, guns and lead make more sense.

I am for anything the Communists don’t want us to have.
Everybody attack them from whatever angle you wish and do it often and thoroughly. Bring their House of Cards down. Drown them in their lies.
Have at them.
Go Glenn and go all you talk show hosts.

"is bombarded by commercials for gold, mainly in the form of collectible coins, with announcers intoning that inflation and deficits caused by big government spending are devaluing the dollar and making gold the best investment money can buy.... "
Those are called "commercials"...paid for by advertisers who wish to sell a legal product...gold.
It is highly encumbent upon listener to use their intelligence and mature judgement when making buying decisions based on any commercial, whether it be for a "shamwow", or a tampon.
No one forces anyone to buy any product shown on TV, but I can think of a plenty that are a lot more dangerous and undesireable than "gold".
I used to be against the law to advertise hard liquor on TV, but cigarette advertising was legal...now, libs have turned that around to banning tobacco ads, but have legalized hard liquor ads.
The last time I looked, booze has done a lot more damage to families and societies than cigarettes ever did. It typically takes 10 or 30 years for cigarettes to "get you", but only one evening of drunk driving can put you in the grave.
I'm not promoting cigarettes, I don't smoke...but pointing out the irony of the left.
Actually, this "protest" against commercials about gold is just another stab at trying to arrest the revenue chain for FOX news...that's it, it's that simple.

I think the old saw is “A fool and his money are soon parted”.
If you take the word of any one person as the sole source of your information about financial decisions without doing your own intensive research on the subject, then you most certainly are a fool.
It’s hard to feel much pity for the brain dead.

And all of them refuse to discuss the BC issue even after Palin has brought it up.
For me they have all lost creds.

If you're dumb enough to buy gold from a TV commercial, you're probably prone to making a lot of bad investment decisions.
I like the “send us your old jewelry” ads. Anybody but a burglar would be an idiot to fall for that one.
