It’s the same one. He was under the misconception that the United States was still a government of the people. He should have realized it isn’t and paid his taxes.

I don’t follow. He lied and cheated about his income because he was under a misconception that the US is still a government of the people? Such a shame he didn’t use that defense in court. I’m sure he would have gotten off.

I guess I was under the impression that he lied and cheated on his taxes because he thought he could get away with it, and didn’t want to have to play by the same rules as us little people. No different than Daschle, Geitner, or anyone else.
