Our county GOP sponsors tea parties...

So does mine. The problem is not the GOP, per se. The problem is the RINO idiots that have been allowed to rise to their level of incompetence and political tone-deafness within the organisation, in part because conservatives decided that they'd rather throw themselves a pity party than get involved across the board. Victory takes work - something a lot of conservatives don't seem to understand.

The GOP wants to use real conservatives to elect non-conservatives and that has to stop.

The end result is a slower longer death of freedom in this country.

In Canada the conservative people started a third party and it certainly split the vote for a dozen years. But they killed and destoyed the “Progressive Conservative Party” they were protesting.

But Canada is still there after the mess, it wasn’t the end of the world.

The new Conservative Party that came out of it has been in power for several years now.

Not only does victory take work it takes teamwork. Our county GOP committee has a lone wolf libertarian who wants to avoid all fund raising for the next election cycle. He knows that money is a corrupting influence and therefore we should avoide it. Never mind that it takes money to run campaigns, get out the vote, advertise and be a viable candidate.

So far we have not authorized any fund raisers since he disrupts all attempts to do so in the name of purity. We will lose our solid republican base in the name of conservative, libertarian, lone-wolf purity.
