I believe the dozens of South Koreans I’ve spoken with that believe any attack would lead to a full scale war.
Koreans would rather die than lose face especially on a global level. Attacking Kim is an attack on the military. An attack would unite them and they would go down fighting rather than bow in submission.
But you’d rather accept the significant risk that millions would die than allow Kim to thumb his nose at the US. Sure glad you aren’t making any kind of policy.
Depends on the NK response.
A full-scale NK invasion of South Korea would probably end up with the use of US nukes to stop their multi-million man military.
