THE US will launch a new effort to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, who is believed to be hiding along the mountainous Afghan-Pakistani border, US national security adviser James Jones says.

Asked in an interview if the administration planned a fresh attempt to go after al-Qaeda's leader, Mr Jones said: "I think so."

I hope to heck that the obama administration is not still in when they catch bin Laden.

If so, they'll bring him to New York, put an ankle bracelet on him, and rent him the royal suite at the Astoria while he awaits his (mock) trial.

He'll probably do Letterman, Tonight Show, and a local speaking tour too.

He'll be exonerated on, probably a Miranda technicality, and released at Ground Zero. The kenyan will probably name him Muslim Relations Czar, and transfer the Nobel prize to him.

The Left focuses on getting Bin Laden because it fits in with their dictator-worship. They want to put all the responsibility for 911, etc., on one person so they can pretend it’s over when they catch/kill him.

If they do get UBL, they’ll declare the former-war-on-terror won and they will gut the military to pay for their socialist programs. You can tell they’ve been dying to do this for years.

I think the closest we’ve come to verification is “believed to be” his voice on tape.

I think it is more than reasonable to speculate that those on the hunt for him may be privy to other information confirming him alive....outside of that which is known to the general public / media. Just as this was true of Zarqawi in Iraq (one who was most certainly alive for years in Iraq causing chaos, yet never put himself out on video to be seen).
