How far off was the timing on the ACARS?

5 minutes? or One hour? That would help explain some issues.

But, and point must be raised, where are the other passenger’s e-mails about their experiences? There should be some supporting or disproving the accounts!

ACARS data was all over the place. There was no set deviation. It depended on how well the systems were maintained. Could be minutes could be hours.

As for the other other passenger's emails, there has been that third witness, but yes, I wish there were more. However, it is possible that many are leery of being put in the same cross hairs that Petruna has been put in... and the potential for a US Airways type of lawsuit against passengers could be weighing on them as well. According to Petruna, he was told to sign a document saying he would not discuss the incident. Maybe true, maybe not.
