Villains are flocking to climb on the fraudulent global warming bandwagon. On November 23, Stephen Sackur interviewed Abdalmahmood Abdalhaleem Mohamad on his BBC television show "Hardtalk." Mohamad is Sudan's Ambassador at the United Nations and is also chairman of the G77 and China bloc of developing countries. The topic was the UN climate conference scheduled to start December 7 in Copenhagen. The Group of 77 and China bloc has been playing a lead role in shaping the framework for future treaty negotiations that is to be adopted at the UN conference.

Yet, the group has as its spokesman an official from one of the world's most blood-soaked regimes. Mohamad's boss, President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir, was indicted by the International Criminal Court on March 4 for war crimes (2 counts) and crimes against humanity (5 counts).

The notion is that since the developed countries caused the present climate crisis, they should correct it by cutting back their green house gas emissions dramatically, while the developing countries remain free to grow as fast as possible without any mandated limits on their emissions or on anything else that could slow them down. Furthermore, the developed countries must transfer technology and money (Amb. Mohamad suggested $500 billion) to the developing nations so they can adapt to climate change and build cleaner, more efficient industries. UN-speak for this concept is "common but differentiated responsibilities" and it is enshrined in every document related to the climate negotiations.

The UN is not our friend. We paid good money for all that high-priced oil and exported a lot of that back into the region in charity and technology-driven jobs, not to mention billions in "foreign aid", no-interest loans and subsidies. What has Sudan done with the money? spent 80% on weapons. Slaughtered 300K christians. And now they want me to go back to 1870 where I have carbon rations to purchase to watch my tv or run my refrigerator, while I'm forced to finance their 2011 lifestyle which they will squander and misdirect the same way they did the money already spent on them?

in a pig's ear.

Climate justice? Does that mean these clowns are going to come clean the snow off my driveway and sidewalks?
