This is a great textbook case of Socialism and Communism right before our eyes unfold.
Wonder what our fiercely anti-communist (with a long history of opposing bolshevism), American President will have to say in the next few days in support of the valiant North Korean people?? / sarc
(Sound of crickets chirping....)

There are quite a few parallels with the fall of East Germany. I’ll pray that it works out as well for the people living under socialism in North Korea (and for those soon to be living under socialism here in the US) as it did for Germany.

"They cant arrest all of us......" That is why tyrants always practice divide and conquer...

Marxism in action. But “educated” cretins like Bill Ayers and Noam Chomsky never learn from reality.
It’s an embarrassment to this country that we’re sending a diplomatic mission to talk to this pathological regime.

They are also allowed opportunities to try on clothes made by the national clothing institute before anybody else.Wow. How special for them.

They have absolutely no business going up there to Pyongyang today, agreed! If North Korea wants to talk, let
them come to WASHINGTON D.C. to the MAJOR WORLD POWER, the United States, with FIRM PRECONDITIONS FOR ANY DISCUSSION. End of Issue.
And have proven, loyal NORTH KOREAN DEFECTORS who are now American Citizens on the US negotiating team and running some of the talking points with the Norkies in KOREAN at the negotiating table, throwing ashtrays at them if they have to and digging in tough, hard, unbudging initial American positions. We need to start negotating with Koreans and Koreans pitted against each other negotiate with other Koreans, rather than as naive, benevolent, pussy Westerns on the hot for a phoney deal signed to look good on their State Department resume...let somebody else clean up all the crap years later. (Reading this, CHRIS HILL?)

When the North Korean people rise up during liberation or counterrevolution, when/if they do and I hope they do soon, these will be the first kinds of places to be stormed, in addition to the Secret Police offices, police headquarters, etc. etc. If any regime TV and radio announcers are still caught on the premises, they will take them out into the streets and tear them apart with their bare hands if they have to, and string them up for public display. It wont be pretty but they will have had it coming.60 years of oppression will have been bottled up pretty bad, for anyone, let alone a Korean with anger and spirit and confident self-assertion.
