Thats when I thought to myself that on 9/11, I watched live, along with millions of other people, planes flying into buildings killing people and millions of others watched the same thing on TV. Yet the most we can get to a rally to demand proper justice is an estimated 2,000 or so.
Here we are, 3,007 days from those attacks which killed almost that many people and the subways were full of people going about their day oblivious to what is coming.
Yes, shame on New Yorkers who could but wont get involved. Even more shame on our government for forcing this travesty upon us.
Well, I thank you for remmbering.
9/11/01 was not a good day for me. I knew three people who died that day.
Richard Bruce Van Hine, NYFD, Truck 41, came off shift when the call came in. Jumped on the truck and out the door—forever. They found Bruce a few years later when the ramp down into the pit was removed.
Don and Joan Peterson were on Flight 93 to San Francisco. They were heading out to see their grandchildren there. The ticket attendant said there was an earlier flight than the one they had tickets for, when they got to the airport early, so they jumped at the chance to get there earlier.
Don was a counselor at America’s Keswick in Whiting, NJ, an alcoholic and drug rehab center. He was also on the board of a Christian pregnancy center in Shrewsbury, NJ. All that was found of him and Joan was his well marked Bible, which was given to his son after it was found in the pit at Shanksville.
Thank you for remembering these three fine Christian folks by protesting on their behalf.
God love your soul for going out there!!!!!! I noticed when Obama made his last prime time speech......libs on DU got pissed because he mentioned 9/11. It’s as if they don’t think it exists or want to TOTALLY avoid mentioning it! It made me sick! For gawd’s sake! I can NEVER understand that mentality!
Thanks for your activism/patriotism/report/pics. FR’s finest! BTTT!
