Better questions: should government be allowed to confiscate my money to pay for your health care? Should government be allowed to confiscate your money to pay for my health care?

If I can make you pay for it, maybe I won't give a d*mn about taking care of it.

If I have to pay for my own health care I am more likely to take care of my health.

Why shouldn't I be required to pay more if I don't take of my health? Why shouldn't I get to pay less if I do take care of my health?

If I have to pay for my own health care I am more likely to take care of my health.More importantly, if you're paying for it, I don't HAVE to care about it. Take care of it, don't take care of it, whatever. Compartmentalization is good that way. Plus, with everyone spending their own money, costs go down for everyone. And...the government and insurance companies no longer have any say in your life. Ahhhhhhh!
