No, they are not CAIR folks. Some people just like to feel superior to the unwashed ignorant masses who buy into "bunk". Its an ego trip for them to be the "smart" skeptics.
They are ususally correct in some details when it comes down to it, but the times they ae not, like this one, it is fun to watch.
