Huckabee is lying about cop killer's criminal record in Arkansas
The Examiner ^ | 12/5/2009 | Kevin Hall

There were also three separate courtroom incidents in 1990 where Clemmons tried to use a weapon against a judge, threw a padlock at a bailiff, and tried to take a guard's pistol. A judge ordered Clemmons be placed in leg shackles because he felt Clemmons threatened him.

Then he would have killed a bunch of people in 2015. This guy should never have the opportunity to see the light of day, not in 2001, not in 2008, not in 2015. We would just be apologizning to a different set of grieving families. I fear our legal system and organizations like the ACLU have the biggest hand in this. They have turned these thugs into victims, and not the murderers and criminals they are. The punishments no longer fit the crimes and it is innocent families who are paying the price.

He was replying to post 10 which DID use the word “pardoner.”

Just the facts.

All the other culprits have been acknowledged. But Huckabubba is the only one of them with presidential aspirations, which all but the biggest idiots and Huckabots have to agree are now gone.

He was on Fox this morning defending his decision. It was sickening. I hope his show tanks and I truly believe it will. This guy is a fraud.

But., the simple fact is, if Huckabee had not commutted his sentence through clemency, he would never have been on the street to do any of that.

Which takes us back to the 108 year sentence. The Judge got it right. Huckabee got it wrong.

Since Dukakis didn't pardon Willie Horton (and the Algore used Willie against Dukakis first) you might take a look at what Dukakis actually did.

It was called GIVE WEEKEND PASSES to hardcore violent criminals.

Two things ~ that gave them a good time, but it also gave them the message that if they wanted to get their kicks they ought to get them now, not later, 'cause they were going back to jail.

Dukakis was a piece with the mindless kowtowing to criminals that still goes on in Massachusetts.

The current governor has/had a child rapist as an employee at the highest levels ~

"The Huck's" position on the rights of the unborn to life far outweighs whatever he might have encountered with his commutations of sentence.

Governor Sebelius, who we never hear about on these threads, is personally responsible for the murder of 1.5 million babies a year.

I'll take Huck with his pardons over a Sebelius and her murders anytime.

BTW, "The Huck" is out of office and isn't running for office. Therefore he is not a RINO (if he ever was).

I do demand purity of speech and thought when you use that term, else we end up doing little more than demonizing people with whom we disagree.

Definition dispute ~ you cannot be both a Christian and a Socialist.

I know that ends up excluding most of the Catholic Bishops in the world from Christianity, but that's a problem for the Pope to deal with, not me.

The judge didn't get anything right. I'm sure other worse thugs were sentenced by the same judge to shorter sentences.

What he did was give someone who appeared to have been a minor offender a big ol' sign that said "Hey, look at me, they commited an injustice."

So, nice going judge. You could have put him away for 50 years and "The Huck"'d left him there.

And that’s the problem. You and I know that, but Huckabee doesn’t, nor do the many liberals who say they are Christians.

The happy pardoner Huckabee should now be out of consideration for any run for the President.

He can run all he wants, but he will never be president of the U.S.

Huck doesn’t matter anymore on the national political scene. He is a has been.

And we just want to KEEP IT THAT WAY.

The fact still remains. He gave the guy clemency and before hand knew darn well the parole board was going to release him. The fix was in.

I'm surprised you are going to any length to defend Mike Huckabee. But then, maybe you have more vested in him than meets the eye?

I want to thank all of you for being outraged about Clemons early release. I strongly suspect many governors, legislators and judges, and probably the POTUS are looking at this a “learning” incident. It is a mathematical certainty that if you are weak on crime and criminals, it will come back to bite you in the posterior. If four judges or legislators had been the victims in that coffee shop, well the judiciary would move on corrective measures like their hair was on fire and their butts were a’catching.

Clemons record is not unique. I see guys with records like that all the time and yes, they are out walking the streets, never to change. The are either killed by a rival, kill someone and go to prison for life or killed by the police. Then NEVER become productive, penitent citizens.

My buddy sent me this link and it is similiar to Clemons.

This guy is a fraud.

I think the universal test is: "would you buy a used car from this person?"

So far I have yet to defend Huckabee. What is most interesting in this dialogue of many months is the fact that any mention that someone is misrepresenting some event "The Huck" was involved in is interpreted as "support for him".

I even got that when we had some particularly noxious pukes here talking about his kid hanging a dog and what that said about "the Hucks" Presidental capability.

Personally I think the “noxious puke” is David Huckabee for TORTURING a dog to death and his father for covering it up.

New York and California both have much higher incomes than Arkansas, so of course they pay higher taxes. Are you trying to say one of the poorest states in the US should pay the same dollar amounts in taxes as two of the richest? I think we pay more than enough taxes here. BTW we’ve been paying every kind of tax conceivable to “fix the roads” before Huckabee was ever Governor.
