Our Country was strongly united behind Bush after 9/12 and rightly so

If we are hit again (god forbid) on his clock, I predict the country will look elsewhere for leadership. They will sidestep him completely. I even have gone so far as to predict they will look to Bush for direction at that time.

The police that we work with are for the most part are even more conservative than the firefighters. The female police officer killed this last week in our area was a leader in the Tea Party movement. Most people in the military cannot stand him. Obama may dream of declaring martial law and being our dictator... but the result would likely end with him being kicked out of office and tried for crimes against the United States.

I think this is why the Obama administration gets so ticked off with the Honduran situation. The former prez there declares he is changing the constitution so he can stay in office, and the patriotic Honduran military then moves in and removes the sorry arrogant trash heep.

The similarities are striking.

As crazy as it might seem, I think the current row with Palin and saying the phoney Certificate of Birth (not a Birth Certificate) is a legitimate question will help to drop his numbers more. Mathews and the other lefties can't stand Palin and have to try to beat her up even to the extent of getting the BC issue in the news again. They did the same with Lou Dobbs and that is when the first really big drop in the unqualified potus hit.

I am curious how this will play out early next week.

Yes. Besides, Congressman Land (along with 10 other signatories) sent a letter this week to 0 to release his birth certificate.

Also, Mark Levin picked up on the Sarah Palin BC issue this week.

It's up to us to keep the pressure on Congress, the Media, and the Courts to oust this usurper prior to 2010 elections.

Thanks for the link - 43% from a liberal polling group is VERY good news! That said, MAO-bama will continue to ignore the people and rule like a dictator.

Please define “somewhat” and “abyss”. :)

The "Somewhat" index: difference between those who approve, even somewhat, and those who disapprove, even somewhat.

The "Into the Abyss" index is the difference between those who approve, even somewhat, versus those who strongly disapprove.

I think that Hawthorn's idea with this one (both of these indices were Hawthorn's brainchildren) is that if it ever goes negative, the Bamster is utterly hosed...thus "into the abyss"
