The WSJ is famous for having conservative editorial page writers and flaming leftist reporters.

In this case, they seem to have invited a flaming leftist in to advise the Republican Party.

As it notes at the link, Thomas Frank is “author of What’s the Matter With Kansas? (2004) about the red-state mindset. His book about conservative governance, The Wrecking Crew, was published in 2008.”

Yeah, sure. Looks like a candidate to be next chair of the RNC.

Thomas Frank is the replacement for the heinous, lying scumbag Al Hunt. He’s not as good a writer, but he’s not quite as obnoxious. It’s sort of like the difference between cancer and heart disease.
