I believe Palin has been on the correct side on the “birther” issue. Her mistake here was to be too clever by half on a conservative talk show, using language that clearly suggested she was on the side of the “show the birth certificate” movement.
That is clear because of how many threads we had here where the birth-certificate folks praised her for being with them.
But it is now clear she is not with them, other than to acknowledge their right to ask the question; not that they are RIGHT to ask the question.
She essentially grants them the right to ask the wrong question.
not that they are RIGHT to ask the question.
Fascinating. 0bama-like even. Please educate me on how this "nuanced" observation is not contradictory.
“not that they are RIGHT to ask the question.”
It’s never right to follow the Constitution. /goron
No mistake.
She was exactly right in what she said on that interview.
“other than to acknowledge their right to ask the question; not that they are RIGHT to ask the question”
If you have the right to ask any question, you are right to ask that question. Whether the questins asked lead to 0bozo getting his mraching orders or not, is up to the corts of this country.
