She is being one her detractors say she isn’t. She is being clever and politically competent. Her goal is to run for President and not get caught up in this side issue.
Her job is not to taken on the BC issue. It’s to get elected in 2012.
This is clear if you read what it says and not what you want it to say.
More likely, her intention is to draw attention to herself now that she’s moved on from elective politics and into the lucrative celebrity business.

Then that doesn’t make her a bold leader, it makes her a “run of the mill” political. When faced with a issue, either get in or stay out... Don’t stick your toe in to test the water.
