Then why are there marine fossils?

Ummm, cuz they were once alive, died, and were fossilized? Or do you think that if the flood didn’t kill them off, then they were to be immortal?

Did you post before thinking?

Some aquatic life perished, but they didn't die out as a species. There are likely hundreds of thousands of undiscovered species living at or under the bottom of the ocean.
