Yes, I thought that was a really stupid comment as well. Are they saying people would rather get out and run around if it’s cold and rainy or snowy? They talk like people were spending the day at the beach instead of shopping.
Totally a CYA statement, isn't it? If it had been cold, they'd have claimed the cold weather kept people at home. Bottom line is NO ONE HAS ANY MONEY. Our sales for October were down by almost 25%. Haven't gotten to November yet but it's looking as bad or worse. And our business isn't "wants" based, it's "needs" based!
