Your right on that one........there is no such a thing as a fact checker......
PS to my reply to you. They don’t even know how to use spell check or proper english...I don’t either sometimes, but writing is not my profession......:O)
That was one quick retreat
Governor Palin is not retreating. She is reloading!
Go Sarah, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish Obama would produce his birth certificate, and I have nothing but contept for the idea that those who ask it of him are somehow kooks or nutcases -- the insulting "truther" label is contemptible, especially coming from Republicans and conservatives who allow themselves to be controlled by fear of popular scorn. Palin has never scorned "truthers" or even used the derogatory term, as far as I know, and that's absolutely enough for me; as you know, I think both of her answers on this were extremely smart and square.
IMO, the real responsiblity for pressuring Obama to show his birth certificate lies NOT with Obama's political opponents nor we the voting public. It lies SQUARELY, is SQUARELY the job, the responsibility, the MORAL DUTY of the Fourth Estate -- the news media.
It is the REAL villain in this thing, and the true traitor to our Founding Fathers and the Constitution -- even more than Obama. Obama would never have happened if not for a traitorous Fourth Estate. Obama is a product of its betrayal, not the cause of it.
That is correct, she didn't. She was also correct when she stated....
"I think the public, rightfully, is still making it an issue. I dont have a problem with that. I dont know if I would have to bother to make it an issue cause I think there are enough members of the electorate who still want answers."
"I think its a fair question, just like I think past associations and past voting record all of that is fair game. You know, Ive got to tell you, too: I think our campaign, the McCain/Palin campaign didnt do a good enough job in that area. We didnt call out Obama and some of his associates on their records and what their beliefs were and perhaps what their future plans were. And I dont think that that was fair to voters to not have done our jobs as candidates and as a campaign to bring to light a lot of the things that now were seeing made manifest in the administration."
Question: If the BC issue was on a poll, do you think it would break the top 5 issues that most Americans are concerned about? Conservatives should focus on a great many other things if they want to make gains in 2010. The BC issue isn’t one of them, IMHO.
