I agree with you on the border issue...they should have been EFFECTIVELY secured on 9/12. That didn't happen and won't. I believe it is the CFR's intention to secure the perimeter of the continent, as suggested in Dr. Robert Pastor's testimony. Who also, by the way, suggested that the solution for illegal immigration was to bring the US economy DOWN to that of Mexico's. geee I wonder if they'll succeed? CFR = "think tank" my azz!

And yes, I agree, we currently have immigration laws which set forth a pathway to citizenship. However, giving an illegal alien ANY path to citizenship that does not include returning to country of origin and waiting there, in line, BEHIND ALL OTHER APPLICANTS WHO'VE BEEN WAITING TO DO SO LEGALLY...is when "path to citizenship" = amnesty.

We must effectively secure our borders and the solution to our illegal alien problem can be resolved by 1) attrition through enforcement and 2) an end to birthright citizenships. Illegals WILL return home, on their own, if our current immigration laws are enforced. If we say No jobs, no banking (wire transfers, mortgages, auto loans, etc.), no driver's licenses, no federal, state or local benefits...they'll have no choice but to leave.

Hey..couldn’t have said this better myself..or even close! Thank you for articulating pretty much how I see the immagration issues.

And yes, of course return to their homeland and wait in line. However, Am afraid that Mex. and other nations will get their pants in a knot if we do this and the politics of will just continue to drag on anything getting done about this problem. Sometimes it just feels like its too late.

Anymore to say?? I’m interested in your opinions
