BTTT!
Wasn’t this long ago? I am here in Atlanta and don’t recall that last month.
The article says mid-November.
MUCH APPRECIATED.
I think it’s simportant for folks to realize where we are in this war . . .
and to be aware that
THEY CAN TAKE ACTION to protect themselves and their fellow passengers.
This sounds exactly like a story a couple years ago

“FAA to investigate cell phone use on Atlanta flight”
By Alexis Stevens and Kristi Swartz
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
SNIPPET: “The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating what led to the two-and-a-half hour delay of a Tuesday flight from Atlanta to Houston, an agency spokeswoman said Wednesday morning.
An AirTran spokesman said a man traveling with a group Tuesday afternoon refused to turn his cell phone off before takeoff. But the woman sitting behind the man said it wasn’t a phone at all, and feels the entire incident was the result of poor communication.
“He was not talking on a cell phone, it was a camera,” said Nancy Deveikis of Marietta. “He was looking at pictures.”
A flight attendant asked the man twice to turn off the device, Deveikis said. But it was clear the man did not speak English, she said. Although the man was traveling with others, the rest of the group was seated throughout the plane.”
Was the gate crashing at the wh an innocent mistake or a dry run?
As long as they strip searched an 80 year old grandma, presumably everything turned out OK.
Yep.
If all those jackasses had been removed from the plane by stretcher, the next group of jackasses would have to seriously reconsider similar actions.
11 people (size of hijack team) up out of their seats when the plane is taxiing- should be prosecutable.
Flying is a privilege, Not a “right”.
Now watch for the CAIR lawsuits.
Note: I couldn’t find anything in November in the media section of the TSA.gov or the FAA.gov regarding this incident.
I either overlooked it or there was no mention of the incident as described in the 2 news articles.
Certainly would have been my PREFERENCE.
Perhaps with an enormously diminshed capacity to have children.
If I was on that flight I would have been taking photos and videos of everything and everyone involved. Where are the photos and videos of this?
Was that the “sheiks on a plane” (aka Flying Imams) flight from Minneapolis to Phoenix back in 2006?
No warm fuzzy feeling about my upcoming trips to Dallas on AirTran! Will be extra on alert for weirdness.
Given the gate crasher was a Palestinian I would say it was a message sent.
If the story IS true...then we’ve probably got the latest, in what will become a string, of such incidents involving Muslims being removed from public transportation for “suspicious behavior”.
This comes right out of the CAIR and Muslim American Society playbook “Sheiking Down the Airlines...for Fun and Prophet!”
Similar incidents have occurred over several years, so it does have a ring of familiarity. There was the case of the group of imams flying out of MSP, and the Syrian "musicians" who pulled a similar stunt on a flight. Journalist Annie Jacobsen brought that incident to light and prompted her to write a book and launch theaviationnation website--but not until she'd been vilified, ridiculed, called hysterical and bigoted and a liar by airline and government officials, who flatly denied her account....which later turned out to be a helluva lot closer to reality than the govt's fairy tale. After her ordeal, I'm not willing to dismiss this latest incident just yet.
