Well, this video doesn't do what a lot of conservatives say it does. Yes, he makes fun of Climategate, but within the context of "crazy conspiracy theorists" will use this to make up stuff, not in the context of "look at how goofy this has been all along."

Sometimes our side is sooooo quick to jump on any drive-by source that appears to take our side that people don't look closely at the message.

That’s not what I got out of it. He is being critical and that is a good thing.

Our side is also quick to condemn anybody who isnt 100% behind every issue as a “leftist”.

Jon Stewart is a satirist. Satirists are out to ridicule everybody. The better ones disguise their own political viewpoints (which are no ones concern but themselves anyway) and point up not messages, but how those messages are presented.

It’s the job of Conservatives and Climate realists to convince people that AGW is, literally, a lot of hot air, not Stewart’s.

Sure he’s going to hedge his bet, so to speak, but at least he’s talking about it... unlike the KatieMen of the “news media”.
