Thanks. I love it. Now all they need to do to “satisfy” USA is to establish a “unity government” from now until the end of the year (end of Zelaya’s term).

Viva Honduras. Viva Sen De Mint and Viva FR for keeping up the pressure.

I can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the title.

You have a good point. If the legislature does it and is supported by the courts its not a coup. But then who expects the left to use their brain.

“Just wanted everyone to see that the L A Slimes is bitterly clinging to the “coup” canard. “

Nothing new there.

One wonders what school of journalism these idiots attended. Seriously, it would be interesting to look into this.

“Honduran Congress upholds coup”

It was not a coup. Inaccuracy or subtle lying? Leftist, government mainstream dinosaur media is on its deathbed. Bye, bye, LA Times. May you be followed by The San Fran Chronicle!

One can't help but wonder what a "unity government" is and if such a thing exists anywhere else in the world.

Interesting picture at that link. The Zelaya “supporter” is wearing a red “Bolivarian” symbol, Hugo Chavez’ agitprop representation of Bolivar combined with socialism. The Hondurans have had a close call.

In its worst form, Obama, while US Senator, forced a unity government on Kenya. His cousin Odinga came in a distant second in election but the Muslims went on a burning and killing spree and a “unity government” was formed with “power sharing”. Muslims are a small minority in Kenya, which has a large Christian majority, but Obama’s people managed to snare a huge voice through violence and community organizing..

Sounds like a call for a “unity government” is a signal for the radicals to start their terrorists activities.

They did start their little kerfuffle but the peer pressure, cops and military were too much for them.

Isn't it amazing?

Honduran Congress upholds coup with 111-14 vote.

Honduran Supreme Court upholds coup in unanimous decision.

Honduran people uphold coup in landslide election.

Honduran businesses still support coup.

Honduran RCC diocese stubbornly backs coup.

Mad Mel Zelaya, holed up in deserted Brazilian embassy, fighting against Israeli Mossad mind ray guns, decries coup.

Democracy is dead in Honduras! Aiyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The last unity government I recall that we imposed was on China.
