You are correct. Prosecutors have a hard row to hoe. They have to get up close and study facts and evidence that one really does not want to know. They often live with their cases. The only thing that is more depressing than a conviction is when a guilty perpetrator walks. Then, even when they get a conviction, some Pontius Pilate of a governor releases Barabus on a 10% chance.
