If free elections continue to be held ;-), there will be a serious backlash in the US against this stuff. Before Climategate broke, 2/3 of the public didn’t believe in AGW.

Given recent developments, and a frigid winter, I expect the number to go substantially higher.

As I understand it (correct me if I’m wrong) both Cap and Trade and Copenhagen are dead until at least late 2010. That’s a very positive development, and I think indicative of the trend.

That’s what they’re saying...but they were also saying that “health care” enslavement didn’t have the votes either. I think that’s the ruse to calm down the masses—say they it won’t happen and then spring it on you.
