Funny how all this nation-building was discredited when Bush did it. Now this genius takes a year to figure out a policy, and it’s the same as the Iraq plan (turn it over to the locals, etc. etc.)
Trouble is, Afghanistan is a bunch of tribesmen, and the Iraq blueprint is inappropriate.
