It may be false hope, but I keep going back to a quote from an AP story on 11/24:
Trenberth, a well-respected atmospheric scientist, said it did not appear that all the documents stolen from the university had been distributed on the Internet by the hackers.
This, of course, refers to Kevin Trenberth, head of the climate analysis section of the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, CO, who is in the thick of the leaked CRU emails.
Are there more? Are UEA, NCAR and the IPCC running scared? One can only hope.
Are they now going to pull an ACORN and start shredding (or just throwing away) compromising documents?
They've already ready used the "storage issues" excuse to explain why some communications no longer exist.
There needs to be a freeze on their access to the existing files so that there is no coverup of the full level of deceit.
