I should have been more specific. I did not mean science as a field, but the specific practitioners of climatology who are tarnishing the reputations of those who do their jobs with integrity and objectivity. These 42 so called scientists need to be exposed and their methods brought to light.

You are right. And I totally agree with you - but my point was it doesn't take many bad apples to spoil the barrel.

Alarmist scientists - if they're not exposed by the majority - will bring down the profession - - down to the point where people like me will make 'trust' jokes - "who can you trust more - used car salesmen, journalists, or scientists?"

The same is true of Islamic supremacist rhetoric (imperialist, jihadist, segregationist). Until the "good" speak out against the "bad", the group is tarnished as a whole. Silence can be deafening.

In the case of the Global Warming Scare, there HAVE been scientists who challenged the findings. THOUSANDS of them. They faced blacklisting and ridicule ("flat Earther" and "denier!").

The problem is that those who FAVOR such protectionist social agendas as the Global Climate Control Carbon Credit scam are unwilling to say "we may not need to do this, the numbers don't bear out that any of what is being warned is genuine... it is pure hysteria and we are relieved that the Earth is safe".
