National Party candidate Porfirio Lobo was the favorite to win in pre-election polls. Yet the name of the victor is almost beside the point. The completion of these elections is a national triumph in itself and a win for all people who yearn for liberty.

Another blow to Obama and his marxist plans. America can take a lesson from the freedom loving people of Honduras.

...Viva Honduras!
Though a milestone has taken place, the situation still needs resolution. Will Brazil still keep Zelaya in their embassy? Honduras must strike back, as it were, diplomatically, at those who threatened their sovereignty.
Zelaya needs to stand trial, whether or not he attends, and needs to face some sanction if convicted. The ultimate punishment for him would not necessarily be prison, but to be stripped of his citizenship and exiled. Unlike the typical dictator, I have a feeling that he unwisely did not squirrel away of lot of his nation’s wealth, as an insurance policy.
In truth, the best punishment might rhetorical emasculation, to proclaim him “less than a man” and a “person of no honor”, for wanting to be a dictator (also a none too subtle jab at Chavez, his cronies, and even Castro). The complexity and subtlety of Spanish curses are such impugning his masculinity could be agonizing.
Fantastic! Great job!
