Will Congresswoman Matsui Change Her War Tune?

If this is what she thought was a stupid idea when Bush was the president, I wonder what she will say about Obama tomorrow night when he explains why he is sending 35,000 of out men and women into Afghanistan?

Will she come out now and embrace the same strategy that Bush used to win the war in Iraq or will she condemn it like she did on this video?

Will she stand up for her own beliefs or tow the party line and go with the President?

Will she flip flop now because her party holds the executive office, or will she show some spine and stand up for her own beliefs?

I think its time for the media to hold her accountable for her statements and for the voters to see just what type of person she really is. Congresswoman Doris Matsui has had a long standing invitation - for over a year - to come on the only political talk show in her home district, (KTKZ am 1380), and speak with Eric Hogue to discuss her policies and her votes.

As of today she has refused every request.

What are you afraid of Doris?

She says she was against the war in Iraq from the onset, but voted yes on every appropriation bill to fund the war. Actions speak louder than words Matsui. What will she do and say now regarding Obama's Afghanistan build-up?

My friend Paul Smith is wondering, will she now support the re-committment in Afghanistan while she rebuked Bush's surge in Iraq? Good question; how many Dems will change their war tune? There is a video to refresh memories too.

The author wouldn’t be saying that a pol is a sleezebag, would they. It will be interesting to see what happens.
