So this nutcase Rajendra Pachauri is trying to lead people to believe that big oil [I notice he doesn’t mention Occidental]- as opposed to a bunch of greedy liberals who stand to profit from the global warming scare- somehow made these poor lying junk scientists concoct a bogus theory based on fabricated evidence, made them conveniently lose their source data so no one can independently confirm their research, made them conspire together to commit fraud, and made them eligible for grant money ripped off from taxpayers in order to dupe the same taxpayers into accepting the bogus research as fact and voluntarily lower their standard of living to accommodate a futile fix that really sucks?
You know, I have felt for some time that Big Oil was also heavily invested in carbon credit markets, inasmuch as they are the largest holders of “carbon” if you will, and could both control the endpoint of crude oil refinements, plastics, etc, AND at the same time make a major bundle on “gaming” the carbon market. They also have the money to seriously affect this so called market, and it would also make sense as a built in “hedge-fund” against enviro whacks.
