3. Palinista - Those who will crawl over broken glass to not only voter for her but also spike any negative facts and attack and destroy any critic with dares raise any ugly pot holes about a Palin candidacy. A truly unhealthy position.

Yikes! Haven't you considered the media thrashing she has taken and the need to defend her from same? The intermingling of fact and fiction?

I can't count the number of people I have come across who truly think Sarah said that she could see Russia from her front porch, when in fact Tina Fey said that.

Cut her defenders some slack, Bob.

BTW - Maybe you could explain your use of the phrase “Palin Patriot”?

"Palin's Patriots." Simply put, I think Sarah's supporters are patriots. Salt of the earth. Working families. Military families. People who love our country for it freedoms, not for its entitlements. People who pray and people who are proud to say God is part of their daily lives.

Sarah is a Common Sense Consevative. I like that. No need for fancy words or fancy, high brow education. I think we've seen quite enough of the Harvard, Ivy League types and hopefully a majority of American voters will come to the same conclusion.

I know she has room for improvement, but she knows that too and to date, she isn't running for any office.

I call her Sarah America. How does that sound to you? :)

You see this is the difference in perceptions that can doom a campaign via hubris. While some are thoughtful I’ve found other Palinistas on this site to be defensive, vulgar, nasty, profane, bigoted, close minded, ignorant, knuckle dragging buffoons.

And many of those were also people who pray and people who are proud to say God is part of their daily lives.

If the Palin supporters on this site are any indication of the future, the Palin candidacy is destined for irrelevancy.
Either she or her “juggernaut” are going to explode, at some point, and I hope when it happens it doesn’t take all of conservatism down with it.

Thank you, onyx. I don’t worship Sarah by any means, but I listen to her story and I feel that she is speaking aloud the things that *I* believe about life’s journey, politics/conservatism, family, etc. I’ve always looked at politicians as people above me in society’s castes—elitists, snobbish, looking down their noses at those of us who are ‘commoners’-but with Sarah, I see a fellow mom that I could sit down at a kitchen table with, drinking coffee or tea, while our little ones toddled around the room jabbering and playing, while my Maya played Nintendo DS games with Piper on the couch while watching I-Carly or some other silly Disney program...I feel like she is one of
MY friends, one of MY family, and I’ve never felt that way about ANY politician in my entire 48 years...do I think she hung the moon? No. Do I think she’s flawless and has never messed up in her life. No. Do I think at this moment in time she may be the best hope for America to turn back to the ways things SHOULD be instead of this bizarro world Obama’s rushed us headlong into? YES. YES. A thousand times, YES.

At this time, if the election were today, Sarah Palin has my vote. And there’s millions more JUST LIKE ME.

Think about that, as you and the MSM continue your attacks on her. Only God knows what the future holds for this lady, but after seeing the incredible success she’s having with her book and book tour, I think you and the MSM are sounding more and more ‘sour grapish’—you know what I mean.
