Didn’t Willie Norton play for the Dodgers?

Nah, Willie Norton broke Ali's jaw in a championship bout.

Hehe, some of my best friends know me TOO well... ;-].

BTW - I don’t like being a jerk but I want Conservatives to THINK, not just react. Reacting got us into this mess.

You see this is the difference in perceptions that can doom a campaign via hubris. While some are thoughtful I’ve found other Palinistas on this site to be defensive, vulgar, nasty, profane, bigoted, close minded, ignorant, knuckle dragging buffoons.

I get it now: you're talking specifically about "some unnamed" supporters of hers on this site and I am talking about Sarah's supporters as a whole including her internet supporters. FR has always been rough and tumble and sometimes outright ugly, but again, Sarah was trashed by the media and even by some self-described Republicans/Conservatives, so I have scant to zero pity for them.

Supporters I have seen at her rallies, at Tea Parties and her supporters I have seen on TV recently at her book signings and of course on the net and on FR.

They're PATRIOTS. Sarah is the real deal and if she is not, then she is the smartest politican ever, because she comes across so real as to make the elite news media hate her and the democrats fear her.

If the Palin supporters on this site are any indication of the future, the Palin candidacy is destined for irrelevancy.

How do you figure? The elite news media severely damaged her. "Maybe" irreparably, at least for 2012, but we shall see. 2012 is a long way out and 2010 will be a good indicator of the nation's mood and of the democrat's ability to steal elections. I don't believe any one forum can make or break any candidate, so again, I have to question your reasoning.

I wouldn’t care if she was a VP though, just NOT President.

Your logic is faulty. What happens if the President dies the day after his/her inauguration?

If Sarah can be VP she can be President.

Agree about seeing what the mood of the country will be in 2010. But, you know 2012 seems a long way out but in reality is is only about one year out from the true start of the candidates getting their acts together, seeking supporters for major fundraising and campaign org, etc. and then by late summer/fall of 2011 they will hitting the trail some getting ready for the primaries in Jan/Feb. of 2012. Those that aren’t ready to roll by early 2011 will be left gathering dust. IMO.

I would appreciate if we could hear from the Hucksters only and if the Palinistas could hold there twitchy trigger finger for a few.

Fat chance, that.

Huck’s problems will only help Palin. Without huck Iowa is wide open for Palin. If does does ok in NH against the Mitt machine she goes into SC with a full tank fo Gas. She will sweep SC. that’s two out of three leaving her and Mitt to battle it out. then on to FL. I doubt if Mitt wins Mi this time around Palin is going after MI hard.

Psst...don't mention the inconvenient details re Cheney. You might knock him off the logical, "erudite", intelligent high horse he's been riding on.

It must be Obama that makes 2012 seem so far away in time.

That may be true, but if he were to run, would you support him or is he too “insider”?

I voted for Huck in the CA primary, with some reservations. By that point Fred was done, and Duncan Hunter had dropped out and endorsed Huckabee. Anyway, I think Huckabee is a good man, who has a lot of core values that I like. He also is really pro-gun, in his life as well as rhetoric, and that’s a major issue for me.

Where Huckabee has made mistakes it has been in the area of excessive compassion clouding his judgement. It’s fine to have compassion override standards on a personal level, but not in public policy. I have often seen where sincere Christians feel that because their relationship with God has changed their life, they are willing, even want to believe that the worst people have been redeemed. Unfortunately it leaves them vulnerable to being taken in by sociopathic con men like this guy.

Anyway I really don’t think Huck was planning on running. He as much as said so on FOX News Sunday yesterday before all this blew up. In any case, I wasn’t planning on voting for him this time. I hope Sarah runs, and will support her if she does. If not, I hope someone worthwhile steps up. I won’t be supporting a RINO like Romney. I would rather let the RATS mess things up all by themselves than elect phonies who will help them.
