Steve, I’m sure you get a thrill up your leg when you post E.J. Dionne’s cyber-vomit.

What “radical right”? To EJ, anyone to the right of Olympia Snowe is a radical.

Where where these as*holes when the vile and disgusting name calling was aimed at GWB? Apparently it’s only important to have civility directed towards the president when a lib occupies the WH.

Vile and hate filled? Forgot Bush ever existed.... huh.

What I find amazing is how they trot out this same crap everytime a Democrat manages to lie to enough people to get into office.

Leftards seem to always forget that.

I wasn’t aware that The Onion took over publication of the Washington Post.

He can't argue against it because he is a definable communist, marxist, socialist, muzzie fascist... what is there to argue about and there is no defense against his actions.

The most surprising and disappointing aspect of our politics is how little pushback there has been against the vile, extremist rhetoric that has characterized such a large part of the anti-Obama movement.

President Obama's White House has largely ignored those accusing him of "fascism" and "communism," presumably believing that restraint in defense of dignity is no vice.

The leftist press is again talking about themselves, whilst they attempt to blame others. If they had journalists they would be addressing the actual substance of the concerns of the working Americans who made this country great.

Instead, these propagandists draw and connect their own dots to point the way they wish. It is no surprise that their readership is in a free fall; people want substance, not the same old, weathered line, especially if it is untrue.

This from EJ Dionne, who couldn’t find adjectives vituperative enough to describe George Bush.

Hey, Eddie, your hypocrisy is showing. Again.

“This is precisely why Leach’s witness to moderation requires an immoderate dose of courage.”

Interesting they send out a “Leach” to get metaphorically “Lynched.” (;-)

You and the rest of the radical left always admire limp-wristed, spineless sell-outs like Jim Leach, E.J. They are always ready to betray the US, the American people and the republican party for a nice flattering puff piece in the WaPo.

“the vile, extremist rhetoric that has characterized such a large part of the anti-Obama movement.”

What is he talking about? Obama and the Democrats are in the process of destroying the economy and bankrupting the country. Now anyone who questions these disastrous policies is automatically "vile and extremist". I guess these are the new code words for simple common sense.

"Civility", to a Democrat, means that Republicans will still be nice to them even after they spend every waking hour castigating GOP members as evil, racist, sexist, heartless Nazi bastards.

"Civility" is when GOP "leaders" smilingly surrender their principles and let the Left's lies pass unchallenged.

"Civility" is when Democrats get to frame every debate and define every term without fear of contradiction by Republicans, who are expected to meekly accept the crumbs they are tossed in exchange for not being treated as harshly by the news media as they otherwise would have been.

"Civility" is the Democrats' hidden brass knuckle, the chain mail wrapped in velvet, the poisoned cocktail offered as a gesture of good will.

"Civility", as understood by Democrats, is not a gentleman's agreement of calm and reasoned debate among equals, but the false peace of servile boot-licking imposed by a worthy elite upon a groveling mass of proles.

So: screw "civility". I say we kick their asses instead.

Leach's speech is the kickoff for a 50-state "civility tour,"

You mean she is not doing all 57?

What a liar...Obama called us an "angry mob", "extremists" and "anti-Government", he hired Anita Dunn to attack us and he sent out his thugs (Organizing for America, SEIU) to do the real dirty work.
