You mean as in “carbon based units”?
Yeah, but you need nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorous,iron, magnesium,etc.
...ain’t nothing living that doesn’t have those.

Hydrocarbons are the basic building block of the universe.

The ratio of Hydrogen to Carbon in the Universe is about 10,000:1. Hydrocarbons are relatively rare.

If you want to exploit Titan's hydrocarbons you still need to carry all your own oxygen. If there was any oxygen around, it would have already reacted to with all those delicous hydrocarbons to make water and CO2.
