I agree but he needs to have a real pro run his campaign if he runs again. Maybe Karl Rove?

“One of the most precious men this country has.”

#####

Certainly true.

Now, what are we gonna do if its Duncan Hunter vs Sarah Palin in the Republicn primary.

I’d be thrilled with 8 years of DH, followed by 8 years of SP.

What an entirely different reality it would be. No recession, no socialism, no illegal aliens, no bowing to monarchs and dictators, no drilling bans, no pussyfooting in Afghanistan, no worrying about “world opinion”, no sovereignty give-aways, no open borders, no political correctness, no global warming fraudulence, no ObamaCare, no cuts to vital military programs, etc etc etc etc

Chris Reed’s platform:

I am a father, a husband, a veteran and a business owner.

I was born and raised in Solon, Iowa. Soon after graduation, I joined the United States Navy. I spent five years serving my country alongside some of this country’s greatest men and women. I left the Navy to come home to the greatest state within the greatest nation God ever gave man. In 1998 I started my own business and have been growing it for the past 11 years. In the past 11 years I have met a payroll, kept a budget, employed Iowans and contributed to the economic prosperity of many Iowans.
As the next Congressman from Iowa’s 2nd District,
some of the things I want to make happen for you include:

*Stop the runaway spending in Washington DC
Introduce a tax code that will foster small business growth and job creation

*Uphold the 10th Amendment limiting the power of the federal government over the states –as our founders wanted it.

*Uphold and ensure the 2nd Amendment always pertains to an individual’s right to keep and bear arms.

*Introduce term limits legislation affecting all federally elected officials in Washington, no longer just the President.

*Support and defend the Constitution of the United States and bear true faith and allegiance to the same.

*Protect our God-given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Chief among these is the right to life, including the unborn. All human life is sacred and must be protected.

*I will ensure that our men and women in uniform are taken care of when they return home. As a veteran myself, I will always remember that those who are injured defending this country deserve the best care, this includes our members suffering from PTSD.

I don't understand the significance of that cartoon on such a serious topic.

No disrespect... and I guess it kinda looks like I am being less than serious when you look at it that way. I was not trying to lessen the seriousness. Point well taken. I have the utmost respect for Christopher Reed as well as Duncan Hunter. I really do, hope he wins.
