Muslims and human rights groups have expressed outrage at the decision, depicting it as an attack on Islam and a setback for religious freedom. They have no moral ground to stand on as long as Christian churches are not allowed to be built or repaired in Moslem countries and if any Christian is persecuted within Islam.
