The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building.

This could have been put on a flash drive, if space was actually a concern. Or sent of to a U-Store facility. If the data was destroyed, it was done to hide their cheating. We can't let the left get away with spin on this one.

They think everyone is that stupid. They can fit every page written in the Library of Congress on a 4GB Flash Drive.
