By Seattle Times staff A SWAT team and police negotiators surrounded a Leschi home in Seattle where the man sought for questioning in the Lakewood police shooting may be hiding. Police responded to the home at East Yesler Way and 32nd Avenue South where police stopped a woman who was leaving the home. She told them Maurice Clemmons was on the property and bleeding, according to a law enforcement source. The woman told police that someone had dropped Clemmons off at the home. The source also said police had received tips about two other properties they needed to search, in Queen Anne and Renton. At 8:44 p.m., Seattle police received information that the person of interest may be in a Leschi home, according to Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel. Police are now trying to confirm the identity of the person inside. Police blocked off the street at East Yesler and 30th Avenue South. I wouldnt want to be black in Seattle for the next couple days....Every 20 minutes another citizen calls and sees the "suspect"
Just now on the scanner they have a report of two black males in South Seattle - one with a rifle with a brown strap. Walking along the side of the road.
Indeed. You listening to the scanner? I just heard another suspicious suspect call dispatched as I was typing this.
Maybe. I’m looking up ammo for the glock as I understand that may be the weapon of choice these days. I’ll let you know what I find.
Pretty quiet on this scanner:

I heard a 2 black guys with a rifle walking down Mercer St.
Chasing ghosts.
Thanks.
Ahhh yes.
Glocks come in all flavors. I think it is higher-than average that a cop might be carrying a 9mm. And IIRC cops can’t use hollow points. Seems stupid to me, but....
People live on the Washington side and drive over to Portland for work. There just seems to be no way they could monitor traffic on at least two of those bridges and not ruin the day for the city of Portland.
So they put him in the trunk and voila, he is in Oregon. Seems like it would be easy to do to us.
I just think he is gone. Now you guys have to watch for him. It seems to me like the best thing would be for the surrounding states to be putting his pic out there and especially to the medical places.
Opps - a quick search showed it is MILITARY that can’t use hollow point.
I gotta tell ya... if I lived in Seattle, I’d have that fire dispatch talk group locked out. Damn! That digitized voice is annoying!!
I’m listening too but I keep nodding off.....
They did find a blood trail from a bus stop to a park bathroom just north of UW. I suppose they’ll do DNA on it to see if it is the guy.
Of course he may have friends up there too, or jack a car. As another poster mentioned - it will be rounding up his friends and families and doing detective work. Hope he doesn’t slip away.
at least it keeps us awake...and, I’ve been listening closely for “medic” because Murderboy is going to need a medic....
I am guessing he went to the home in Leschi to get help, cash or something, maybe drop off the daughter?, and now is out of the state. His home was probably collateral for the bond and is soon to be lost anyway.
It's gonna be a longish wait to hear they got him for now, I bet, and when they do, it will be a few states away.
They use that type of system to dispatch in the stations at LAFD....but just in the stations, not over the air. That is why LAFD is so quiet at night when nearly everyone is in quarters.
Here’s some info on glocks. I just remembered the .40 is a favorite of some security officers I know.
9x19 mm Best ballistic performances, moderate recoil, worldwide distribution.
.40 Increased release of energy in the target, optimised urban applicability.
10mm AUTO Maximum ballistic performance and maximum penetrative power. The ultimate force.
.45 G.A.P. All the power of a .45 AUTO in a compact package, fitting the standard grip size.
.45 AUTO Almost 100 year old caliber. Outstanding precision and maximum release of energy.
.380 AUTO Particularly easy controllability with convincing ballistics. 9mm projectile.
.357 Maximum velocity and penetrative power - even against light armour.

9mm THANKS!
And if you look at his following list, he was apparently doing the bishop jordan thing.
