By Seattle Times staff A SWAT team and police negotiators surrounded a Leschi home in Seattle where the man sought for questioning in the Lakewood police shooting may be hiding. Police responded to the home at East Yesler Way and 32nd Avenue South where police stopped a woman who was leaving the home. She told them Maurice Clemmons was on the property and bleeding, according to a law enforcement source. The woman told police that someone had dropped Clemmons off at the home. The source also said police had received tips about two other properties they needed to search, in Queen Anne and Renton. At 8:44 p.m., Seattle police received information that the person of interest may be in a Leschi home, according to Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel. Police are now trying to confirm the identity of the person inside. Police blocked off the street at East Yesler and 30th Avenue South. Police are telling residents to stay indoors and keep their doors locked.

Oh, lady! I hope it’s just your cat knocking something over.
Only about 1 1/2 hours of daylight remaining, right?
I see they came up with an empty sack...:0(
Transferred by family from Lakewood to Seattle per KOMO news just now. They said he had a gunshot wound to stomach.
Yeah. On the scanner some gal keeps asking for someone that can operate the “M P” go pick it up if they have time.
She keeps getting turned down because all available cops are down at the Westlake Mall to cover a protest rally!! Tenth Anniversary of the WTO “Battle of Seattle” probably.
I wonder how many cops this is diverting from the man hunt?!
“Transferred by family....”
I suppose it would be too much to ask for them to face the hangman’s noose as well.
Yeah, but the robot looked cool.
What about the state's 3 strikes you're out law? Why was he still on the street?
“Why was he still on the street?”
Oh - you already know the answer to that. (See your tagline!).
wayne dummond was supposedly jailed back in the 80’s or early 90’s on Clintoons watch as governor.....he supposedly had his nuts cut off(Dummond)....I’m just repeating it as I read it so long ago here on FR....but with all things Clintonista.....everything the guy did or was around is suspect...
Maybe he wasn’t hit as bad as they first thought,,,
Sooner or later...
Those Leftists will be the death of us. I can only TRY to imagine the frustration of the police forced to cover the stupid protest when they want to search for Clemmons instead.
Again, I can’t thank you enough for your reports.
Yes, you’re right -— he’s the one who was gelded.
His residence is at another home where the reporter was standing in front of.
Also the recent assault on an officer happened after neighbors called because he was throwing rocks at cars and peoples houses.

I am now in front of a TV. Huckabee is on next with O’Reilly. Anyone else watching? If not, I will attempt a post-interview report.
Is it me or does his voice seem shaky at times?
BOR: “Thanks for being a stand up guy, Governor, many people want to know why you let him out.”
Huck: He’s trying to explain his reasons for paroling him. He said he looked at his case fikle. 92% of the time they’re denied.
Claims that he wasn’t given ANY information from the prosecutors in the case! That the judge in the case recommended the commuted sentence which made Clemmons eligible for parole. He violated the parole, but charges were not filed in a timely fashion.
Please report. I cannot stand to watch O’Reilly OR Huckabee.
Both together would surely make me throw up my dinner.
It’s not you. Huckabee sounded rehearsed. I’ll wager he has NOT dumped his plans to run in 2012. This was his first trial balloon.
